Thank for the video. It’s truly an honor to get advice from an expert. It’s really frustrating to see that kids are finding new reasons to tease kids about. It’s also scary how fast teasing can grow into full-on bullying.
In order to be prepared to help my kids to deal with bullying, I have done some research. I wanted to find experts’ advice in order to deal with the situation properly. So often parents overreact and tell their kids to hit someone back if somebody hits you. But that’s not the answer.
It’s also important to remember that some kids can’t handle the situation by themselves and only the support from their parents. Some kids also need to see a therapist before they can go on with their normal routine.
This article, in particular, https://aliciaortego.com/bullying-in-the-21st-century/ has great tips.
